Making Champions of Change Prioritizes Success for All

Making Champions of Change is an educational consulting company that believes that every child is capable of success. When district leaders and educators are empowered by the strategic use of their resources and expert knowledge, they can create an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students. MCC focuses on best practices in MTSS and strives to encourage continued improvement of practice to match new research and the ever-changing student need.

MCC has worked with districts small and large across the country. Professional development and coaching have focused on PBIS infrastructure creation, SEL screener implementation, MTSS systems planning, and data-based decision making. The owner of MCC has worked with the following districts in various capacities: Fontana Unified School District CA, Chicago Public Schools IL, Plainview Public NE, Casa Grande School District AZ, Napoleon OH, Blue Island ISD IL, Cherry Valley NY, George Washington Academy Morocco, Kearsarge Regional School District NH, and Queen Bee School District 16 IL. In addition to working directly with district staff, MCC has published several blogs and guides in the field of MTSS and PBIS that are available to the public through the Branching Minds website.

Dr. Morgan Goering is the owner and CEO of Making Champions of Change. She has been working in the field of education for over a decade as a classroom teacher, content lead, PBIS site-based coach, climate and culture coach, assistant principal, and assistant director of student support services. MCC allows her to consult with districts to apply her MTSS and PBIS knowledge in a way that affects the most positive change. Morgan holds a B.S. in Math from UC Irvine, a M.A. in Instruction and Curriculum Development from Grand Canyon University, a Specialist Degree and K-12 Principal Licensure from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and an Ed.D. in Teaching and Learning from Grand Canyon University. She is a passionate educator seeking a platform for creating positive change in education.
