At Making Champions of Change, we believe that empowered leaders create empowered schools. Our mission is to equip school-based leaders with the tools, strategies, and confidence to drive real change in student outcomes, teacher engagement, and school culture.
Founded by Dr. Morgan Goering, a former teacher, administrator, and educational consultant, Making Champions of Change was born from a deep understanding of the challenges school leaders face every day. Morgan’s experience leading PBIS and MTSS initiatives at both the site and district level showed her that many schools have the right intentions—but lack the right frameworks and support to create lasting change.
After becoming a mother, her perspective shifted. She realized that the changes she was working toward weren’t just for the students in her school—they were for her own children, and for every child who deserves a fair shot at success.
That’s why she founded Making Champions of Change—to give school leaders the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to create schools where teachers feel supported, students feel connected, and learning thrives.
Meet Our Founder
Morgan Goering’s mission isn’t just professional—it’s deeply personal. As a mother, she envisions a future where every child, including her own, feels safe, valued, and supported in the classroom. Her drive to improve education stems from the same desire every parent has: to give children the best possible chance to succeed.
With over a decade of experience in K-12 education, Morgan has held roles as a teacher, site administrator, and district-level leader. She knows firsthand the challenges that school leaders face—balancing compliance with instructional leadership, supporting overworked teachers, and trying to improve student outcomes in the face of limited resources.
Morgan’s motivation runs deeper than professional success.
